이번 성과는 단기적 증가가 아닌, 수년간 태양광 중심의 보급 정책이 도시 전반에 구조적으로 확산된 데 따른 것이다. 대구의 태양광 발전 허가 신청은 2020년 214건(20.6MW)에서 2023년 684건(81.7MW), 2025년에는 1,325건(167.1MW)으로 증가했다. 최근 5년간 설치 용량이 8배 이상 확대된 셈이다.
