계명대는 지난 6일 달성1차산업단지관리공단 내에 조성된 ‘달성 프런티어 현장캠퍼스’에서 개소식과 기업 간담회를 개최했다고 밝혔다. 이번 행사는 대학의 교육·연구 역량을 지역 산업 현장과 연결하고 대학과 산업단지, 기업 간 협력 기반을 강화하기 위해 마련됐다.

이날 행사에는 달성1차산업단지관리공단 이사장인 최인호 ㈜이노알앤씨 대표이사를 비롯해 민복기 신동화학 대표, 박진수 ㈜수영하이텍 대표, 이덕우 계명대 산학협력단장 등 대학과 산업단지, 지역 기업 관계자들이 참석했다.

개소식에서는 달성 프런티어 현장캠퍼스의 조성 목적과 운영 계획이 공유됐으며, 이어 열린 간담회에서는 달성1차산업단지 입주기업을 대상으로 한 산학협력 프로그램과 현장캠퍼스 운영 방안이 논의됐다. 참석자들은 ▲기업 기술 수요 기반 공동연구(R&D) ▲기업 맞춤형 교육 프로그램 ▲재직자 교육 ▲현장실습 및 인재 매칭 등 실질적인 협력 방안에 대해 의견을 나눴다.

달성 프런티어 현장캠퍼스는 대학의 교육·연구 역량과 지역 산업 현장의 수요를 연결하는 산학협력 거점으로 운영된다. 계명대는 이를 통해 지역 기업의 기술 애로 해결과 공동연구, 기술 지원, 현장 중심 인재 양성 프로그램 등을 추진할 계획이다.

이덕우 산학협력단장은 “달성 프런티어 현장캠퍼스는 대학과 지역 산업이 긴밀하게 협력하는 현장 중심 산학협력 플랫폼”이라며 “RISE 사업을 통해 지역 기업과의 협력을 확대하고 지역 산업 경쟁력 강화와 인재 양성에 기여하겠다”고 말했다.

Keimyung University announced that it held an opening ceremony and a business meeting on the 6th at the "Dalseong Frontier Field Campus," located within the Dalseong 1st Industrial Complex Management Corporation. The event was designed to connect the university's educational and research capabilities with local industries and strengthen the foundation for cooperation between the university, industrial complexes, and companies.

The event was attended by representatives from the university, industrial complexes, and local companies, including Choi In-ho, CEO of Inno R&C Co., Ltd. and Chairman of the Dalseong 1st Industrial Complex Management Corporation; Min Bok-gi, CEO of Shindong Chemical Co., Ltd.; Park Jin-soo, CEO of Sooyoung Hitech Co., Ltd.; and Lee Deok-woo, Director of Keimyung University's Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation.

The opening ceremony shared the purpose and operational plan for the Dalseong Frontier Field Campus. A subsequent meeting discussed industry-academia cooperation programs and operational plans for companies in the Dalseong 1st Industrial Complex. Participants discussed practical collaboration measures, including joint research (R&D) based on corporate technology needs, customized training programs, employee training, and field training and talent matching.

The Dalseong Frontier Field Campus will operate as a hub for industry-academia cooperation, connecting the university's educational and research capabilities with the needs of local industries. Keimyung University plans to utilize this platform to address technical challenges faced by local companies, promote joint research, provide technical support, and develop field-oriented talent.

Lee Deok-woo, Director of the Industry-Academia Cooperation Division, stated, "The Dalseong Frontier Field Campus is a field-oriented industry-academia cooperation platform where universities and local industries collaborate closely.
