【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=계명대학교(총장 신일희) 행소박물관 박물관대학은 2026학년도 1학기 박물관 특화 아카데미로 ‘세계의 의식주 문화’를 주제로 한 인문 강좌를 운영한다고 밝혔다.

이번 강좌는 패션사, 고고학, 문화인류학, 환경조경, 건축사 등 다양한 분야의 전문가들이 참여해 의식주를 둘러싼 인류 문화의 흐름과 의미를 입체적으로 조명하는 것이 특징이다. 강좌는 2026년 3월 12일부터 5월 14일까지 매주 목요일 오후 2시, 행소박물관 시청각실에서 총 10주간 진행된다.

주요 강의로는 ▲조선시대 여성들의 옷차림(이은주 국립경국대 명예교수) ▲근현대 서양 복식(한희정 계명대 패션디자인과 교수) ▲고대 동아시아 장신구 문화(이한상 대전대 역사문화학전공 교수) ▲아시아의 국수 로드(이기중 전남대 문화인류고고학과 교수) ▲동서가 만나는 터키의 음식문화(이희수 한양대 문화인류학과 명예교수·계명대 특임교수) ▲일본의 밥상 문화(스기모토 가요코 계명대 타불라라사 칼리지 교수) 등이 마련돼 있다.

이와 함께 ▲인생 정원: 동서양 위인들이 찾은 지혜의 공간(성종상 서울대 환경대학원 교수) ▲한국의 주거 문화(조재모 경북대 건축학과 교수) ▲한국의 전통 사찰(신용철 양산시립박물관장) 강의도 이어진다. 강좌 중 한 차례는 행소박물관이 주관하는 문화유적답사로 구성돼 현장 체험의 기회도 제공된다.

행소박물관 박물관대학은 매 학기 높은 수강 만족도를 기록하며 지역을 대표하는 인문 교육 프로그램으로 자리매김해 왔다. 특히 이번 학기에는 세계 각국의 의식주 문화를 폭넓게 다루는 융합 강의를 통해 문화유산과 현대 생활을 연결하는 새로운 시각을 제시할 것으로 기대된다.

김윤희 행소박물관장은 “의식주는 인류 보편 문화의 핵심이자 일상과 가장 밀접한 인문학적 주제”라며 “이번 강좌가 시민들이 세계 문화의 다양성과 역사적 깊이를 이해하는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

한편 계명대 행소박물관은 1978년 5월 20일 대명캠퍼스에서 개관해 2004년 성서캠퍼스로 이전했으며, 대영박물관 대구전, 중국국보전, 헝가리 합스부르크 왕가 보물전, 조선 어진전 등 굵직한 전시를 개최해 왔다. 현재 보물 진주성도와 명품 민화, 가야 유물 등 1만여 점의 소장품을 보유한 지역 대표 박물관으로 평가받고 있다.

Keimyung University Haengso Museum to Offer Humanities Course "World Culture of Food, Clothing, and Shelter" in the First Semester of 2026

Keimyung University (President Shin Il-hee) Haengso Museum's Museum College announced that it will offer a humanities course on "World Culture of Food, Clothing, and Shelter" as a museum-specific academy for the first semester of 2026.

This course will feature experts from various fields, including fashion history, archaeology, cultural anthropology, landscape architecture, and architectural history, providing a three-dimensional overview of the flow and meaning of human culture surrounding food, clothing, and shelter. The course will run for ten weeks, from March 12 to May 14, 2026, every Thursday at 2:00 PM in the Haengso Museum's audiovisual room.

Key lectures include: ▲ Women's Clothing in the Joseon Dynasty (Professor Emeritus Lee Eun-ju, Kyungkuk National University); ▲ Modern and Contemporary Western Clothing (Professor Han Hee-jung, Department of Fashion Design, Keimyung University); ▲ Ancient East Asian Jewelry Culture (Professor Lee Han-sang, Department of History and Cultural Studies, Daejeon University); ▲ Asia's Noodle Road (Professor Lee Ki-jung, Department of Cultural Anthropology and Archaeology, Chonnam National University); ▲ Turkish Food Culture: Where East and West Meet (Professor Lee Hee-soo, Department of Cultural Anthropology, Hanyang University, Specially Appointed Professor); ▲ Japanese Dining Culture (Professor Kayoko Sugimoto, Tabula Rasa College, Keimyung University).

Further lectures include ▲ The Garden of Life: Spaces of Wisdom Discovered by Great Figures of the East and the West (Professor Seong Jong-sang, Graduate School of Environmental Studies, Seoul National University); ▲ Korean Housing Culture (Professor Cho Jae-mo, Department of Architecture, Kyungpook National University); and ▲ Traditional Korean Temples (Director Shin Yong-cheol, Yangsan City Museum). One of the lectures will feature a cultural heritage site field trip hosted by the Haengso Museum, providing opportunities for hands-on experience.

The Haengso Museum's Museum College has established itself as a leading humanities education program in the region, recording high course satisfaction every semester. This semester, in particular, it is expected to offer a new perspective on connecting cultural heritage with modern life through interdisciplinary lectures that broadly cover the cultures of food, clothing, and shelter from around the world.

Director Kim Yun-hee of the Haengso Museum stated, "Food, clothing, and shelter are at the core of universal human culture and the humanities topics most closely related to everyday life. I hope this course will provide an opportunity for citizens to understand the diversity and historical depth of global culture."

Meanwhile, Keimyung University's Haengso Museum opened on May 20, 1978, at the Daemyeong Campus and relocated to the Seongseo Campus in 2004. It has hosted major exhibitions such as the British Museum's Daegu Exhibition, the Chinese National Treasure Exhibition, the Hungarian Habsburg Treasure Exhibition, and the Joseon Dynasty Royal Portrait Exhibition. Currently, the museum boasts a collection of over 10,000 items, including the treasured Jinju Fortress Map, renowned folk paintings, and Gaya artifacts.

Students will receive a certificate of completion signed by the President of Keimyung University and the Director of the Keimyung Citizens' Education Center.
