계명대는 지난 3월 24일부터 26일까지 성서캠퍼스 취업지원센터 일대에서 취업주간 행사 ‘봄하면 재맞고(재학생 맞춤형 고용서비스)’를 개최했다. 이번 행사는 재학생과 졸업생을 대상으로 정부 청년고용정책을 집중 안내하고, 취업 역량 강화를 돕기 위해 마련됐다.

행사에는 대구서부고용복지플러스센터, 대구광역시원스톱일자리지원센터, 대구지역인적자원개발위원회, 대구광역시 청년센터, 국민건강보험공단, 한국장학재단 등 유관기관과 엘앤에프, 화신 등 민간기업이 참여했다. 각 기관은 청년고용정책 안내와 기업 홍보, 국민취업지원제도 상담 등 다양한 프로그램을 운영했다.

행사 기간 약 1,300여 명의 학생이 참여해 높은 관심을 보였으며, 정책 정보와 기업 정보를 한자리에서 확인할 수 있다는 점에서 호응을 얻었다. 참가 학생들은 현장 상담을 통해 개인 맞춤형 취업 지원 제도를 확인하고 진로 방향 설정에 도움을 받았다고 평가했다.

최해운 학생처장 겸 대학일자리플러스센터장은 “청년들의 취업 준비 부담을 줄이기 위해 정부 정책 활용이 중요하다”며 “대학의 다양한 지원 프로그램을 통해 학생들이 실질적인 성과를 거두길 기대한다”고 말했다.

한편 계명대 대학일자리플러스센터는 고용노동부 주관 대학일자리플러스센터 사업과 재학생 맞춤형 고용서비스, 졸업생 특화 프로그램, 일자리 첫걸음 보장센터 사업 등을 운영하며 재학생과 졸업생뿐 아니라 지역 청년까지 아우르는 취업 지원 체계를 확대하고 있다.

Keimyung University (President Shin Il-hee) has stepped forward to support students' career planning by providing integrated guidance on youth employment policies and job support services through its Employment Week event for the first semester of the 2026 academic year.

Keimyung University held the Employment Week event, ‘Bomhamyeon Jaematgo’ (Customized Employment Services for Current Students), from March 24 to 26 in the area surrounding the Career Support Center on the Seongseo Campus. This event was organized to provide intensive guidance on government youth employment policies to current students and graduates, and to help strengthen their job-seeking capabilities.

Participation in the event included related organizations such as the Daegu Western Employment Welfare Plus Center, Daegu Metropolitan City One-Stop Job Support Center, Daegu Regional Human Resources Development Committee, Daegu Metropolitan City Youth Center, National Health Insurance Service, and the Korea Student Aid Foundation, as well as private companies such as L&F and Hwashin. Each institution operated various programs, including guidance on youth employment policies, corporate promotions, and counseling on the National Employment Support System.

Approximately 1,300 students participated during the event, demonstrating high interest. The event was well-received for allowing students to access policy and corporate information in one place. Participating students evaluated that they received assistance in setting their career paths and identified personalized employment support systems through on-site counseling.

Choi Hae-woon, Dean of Student Affairs and Director of the University Job Plus Center, stated, "Utilizing government policies is crucial to reduce the burden of job preparation for young people," adding, "I hope students achieve tangible results through the university's various support programs."

Meanwhile, Keimyung University's University Job Plus Center is expanding its employment support system to encompass not only current students and graduates but also local youth by operating the University Job Plus Center project organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, customized employment services for current students, specialized programs for graduates, and the Job First Step Guarantee Center project.
