계명대학교(총장 신일희)는 2026학년도 정시모집 원서접수 결과, 정원 내 기준 모집인원 566명에 5,648명이 지원해 9.98대 1의 경쟁률을 기록했다고 밝혔다. 이는 입학정원 3천 명 이상을 선발하는 전국 대형대학 가운데 가장 높은 정시 경쟁률로, 비수도권 대학이 전국 단위 경쟁에서 경쟁력을 입증한 사례로 평가된다.

이번 경쟁률은 전년도 2025학년도 정시 경쟁률 7.93대 1과 비교해 큰 폭으로 상승한 수치로, 계명대학교 정시모집 역대 최고치를 경신했다.
