1차 유행 이후 확진자가 평균 0~3명까지 왔다갔다하면서도 안정세를 유지하던 때와는 달리 이번 상황(12월)은 다른 지역에 비해 많지는 않지만 3명 아래로 떨어지지 않고 지속적으로 확진자가 나와 지역 사회를 긴장시켜왔다.

11일 6명은 이러한 긴장과 우려를 확인이라도 시키듯 증가세가 확연했다. 더운 여름과 달리 바이러스가 활동하기 좋은 날씨와 느슨해진 방역 생활, 게다가 연말 각종 모임의 증가 등 주변 환경까지 최악인 상황에서 6명으로의 증가는 진정될 것이란 기대보다는 증가할 것이라는 우려가 더 높은 게 사실.
