권 시장은 “이번 제1차 경제방역대책은 크게 세 가지에 주안점을 두었다. 첫째는 공공 일자리로써 최소한 5～6개월 정도의 생계를 책임지고 지원하자는 것이고, 둘째는 긴급생계복지지원으로 벼랑 끝으로 내몰리고 있는 위기가정을 돌보자는 것이다. 두 분야에 1천억 원 가까운 예산이 소요될 예정이다. 또, 세번째는 여행업, 전세버스업계 등과 같이 정부재난지원금을 받지 못하는 자영업자 및 청년층에 대한 지원으로 정부 지원의 사각지대를 메우고 조금이라도 희망을 드리고자 한다”고 강조했다.
