서상우 감독과 함께 리틀 50명, 주니어 30명의 선수로 구성된 경산 리틀야구단은 지역의 야구 꿈나무 육성을 위해 2009년 창단 후, 전국대회 8강 이상의 성적 및 대구경북대회에서 여러 차례 우승을 차지하는 등 전국의 리틀야구 강자로 자리매김하고 있다.
