【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=대구시 물산업 대표단이 오는 15일까지 세계 최대 미국 물산업전(WEFTEC 2022)에 참가한다.
이종헌 대구시 정책총괄단장, 한국물기술인증원, 한국환경공단 등 유관기관을 비롯해 14개 물기업을 포함한 80여 명이 참가한다.
11일 대구시에 따르면 국내 우수한 물기술을 전시 홍보하고, 세계 물기술 동향을 파악 및 물기업 해외진출 방안을 모색하여 글로벌 네트워크를 강화할 예정이다.
주요 전시품목으로 전동 액추에이터, 수질여과장치, 산업용 내시경, 차염산발생장치, 유량계, 멤브레인, 오존발생기 등 기업제품 전시부스를 설치해 운영할 수 있도록 대구시가 적극 지원한다.
아울러 LA지역 상하수 선진사례인 하이페리온 하수처리장의 탄소중립을 위한 바이오가스 생산 및 에너지 자립화 현황과 지하수보충시스템(GWRS) 시설의 하수 재이용을 통한 지하수 충전 등 수자원 효율적인 활용 방안을 살펴본다.
또 Aqueduct 정수장(LAAFP)의 취수원 및 고도정수 처리로 상수 원수 수질 오염 문제 대응 방안과 미국 서부지역 수도정책을 벤치마킹해 대구시가 추진 중인 맑은 물 하이웨이 사업에 반영할 계획이다.
이종헌 대구시 정책총괄단장은 “물기업 성장 및 해외진출 활성화를 위한 물산업클러스터 인프라와 통합지원체계 강화를 통해 대구가 물산업 허브 도시인 것을 전 세계에 알리겠다”며, “이를 통해 많은 물기업들이 쉽게 해외진출을 할 수 있도록 제도적, 경제적 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 밝혔다.
