17일 대학에 따르면 지난 5일 대경대 간호학과 재학생 33명은 경상북도 칠곡군 왜관읍에 위치한 대구과학 수사연구소를 방문해 취업지원 프로그램에 참여했다.
2014년 1월 16일 설립된 대구과학 수사연구소는 대구와 경북 지역 수사기관과 공조체계를 구축하여 신속 정확한 감정을 지원하며 지역사회의 안정과 발전에 기여하고 있다.
DK GOGO JOB(기업현장교육 프로그램)으로 연구소를 방문한 학생들은 법의 간호사가 하는 일에 대해 알아보고 부검하는 현장을 직접 체험했다.
간호학과 2학년 한늘슬아 학생은, “간호학도로써 실제로 사람을 부검하는 모습을 보고 싶었는데 직접 마주하니 무섭기도 했지만 굉장히 신선한 경험이었다.”면서 “진로에 대해 한번 더 생각해보는 계기가 되었다.”고 말했다.
김미화 간호학과 교수는 “대학일자리 플러스 사업 프로그램을 통한 이번 방문은 학생들에게 법의 간호사라는 직업으로 취업 영역을 확장할 수 있는 좋은 기회였다.”고 설명하며 “앞으로도 학생들이 더 다양한 분야로 나아갈 수 있도록 기회를 마련하겠다.”고 전했다.
