대학에 따르면 지난달 22일 대경대 사회복지학과 재학생 30명은 대구 중구 대신동에 위치한 서문복지재단을 찾아 직무 체험에 나섰다.
이날 현장에서는 서문복지재단 신동혁 원장이 학과관련 전공자격(사회복지사 2급, 청소년지도사 3급)을 취득 후 진출 할 수 있는 직업현장분야를 설명하고 취업관련 정보를 안내했다.
또한 산업체 요구에 부합하는 체계적인 교육시스템 외에 사회가 요구하는 인재상과 직무능력에 대한 설명이 이어졌다.
사회복지학과 2학년 이서윤 학생은 “현장에서 직접 체험해보니 학과 교육과정과는 또 다른 체계적이고 유기적인 배움을 얻을 수 있었다.”는 소감을 전했다.
지도를 맡은 이선영 사회복지학과 교수는 “대학일자리 플러스 사업 취업지원 프로그램의 지원으로 학생들이 직접 눈으로 보고 몸으로 겪어볼 수 있는 직무체험의 기회를 얻을 수 있었다.”면서 “이번 프로그램에 이어 동계 인턴십 등 확실한 취업연계까지 이루어져서 학생들이 미래의 사회복지사로써 활발한 활동을 하게 되길 바란다.”고 말했다.
