민선 8기 이후 변화된 숙소 및 공용차량 운영과 관련해 질문에 나선 이성오 위원은 "통금 부서 폐지하는 과정에서 시청 공무원들에 대한 여론 수렴이나 이런 부분이 절차가 전혀 없었다고 알고 있다. 예산 절감 차원에서 진행한 것이지만 결국 버스,지하철,자차 운행 등 결과적으로 예산 절감 차원은 별 효과를 거두지 못하는 것 같다. "며 숙소 규모 축소로 인한 필수 주거지원 감소 우려, 통근버스 폐지에 따른 청사 주차 혼잡 및 직원 불편 증대 등 각종 문제점을 지적하고 이를 해결하기 위한 개선 방안 마련을 주문했다.
