류 의원은 “공천된 후보에 대한 지원 등 세부 사항은 앞으로 논의를 해 나가도록 하겠다”며 기자회견을 마무리했다.

당초 대구 동구군위갑에는 류성걸 의원을 비롯 5명의 예비후보가 출마를 선언했지만 국민의힘 공천관리위원회는 국민추천제를 통해 최은석 전 CJ제일제당 대표이사를 공천했다.
