이번 대회는 계명대 제62대 총학생회가 주최·주관했으며, 경일대, 대구가톨릭대, 대구한의대, 영남대 등 지역 5개 대학 총학생회가 함께 참여해 화합과 소통의 시간을 가졌다.

체육대회는 대학 간 경쟁이 아닌 연합 방식으로 진행됐으며, 축구, 계주, 줄다리기, 줄넘기 등 단체 경기를 통해 협동심과 단결력을 다졌다. 참가 학생들은 소속을 넘어 응원과 격려를 주고받으며 지역 대학 간 유대감을 강화했다.

박한준 계명대 총학생회장은 “이번 연합체육대회는 대학의 경계를 넘어 지역 대학들이 하나로 어우러지는 출발점이 됐다”며 “함께 뛰고 웃으며 만들어낸 경험이 앞으로의 협력과 성장의 밑거름이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

계명대는 이번 체육대회를 계기로 대구·경북 지역 대학 간 정기적인 교류를 확대하고, ‘함께 성장하고 협력하는 대학 문화’를 조성해 나갈 계획이다.

Daegu and Gyeongbuk University Student Councils Hold First Joint Sports Competition

On the 2nd, the "1st Daegu and Gyeongbuk Love Student Council Joint Sports Competition" was held at the main stadium of Keimyung University's Seongseo Campus.

This competition was hosted and organized by the 62nd Keimyung University Student Council. Student councils from five local universities—Kyungil University, Daegu Catholic University, Daegu Haany University, and Yeungnam University—participated in the event, fostering harmony and communication.

The competition was conducted as a joint event rather than a competition between universities. Team events such as soccer, relay races, tug-of-war, and jump rope fostered cooperation and unity. Participants shared encouragement and support beyond their respective affiliations, strengthening the bonds between local universities.

Park Han-joon, President of Keimyung University's Student Council, stated, "This joint sports competition served as a starting point for regional universities to unite beyond their respective university boundaries.
