【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=계명대학교(총장 신일희)는 지난 11월 20일 성서캠퍼스 바우어관에서 대구연구개발특구 이노폴리스캠퍼스와 대구시 RISE 혁신아카데미 사업을 연계해 ‘2025 기술인재 취업·채용 박람회’를 개최했다.

이번 행사는 과학기술정보통신부와 연구개발특구진흥재단(대구연구개발특구본부), 계명대학교가 공동 주최·주관했다.

박람회에는 대영전자, 아임시스템, 페르세우스, 에스티엠, SJ테크, 지엘, 오대, 쓰리에이치, 세신정밀, 메가젠임플란트, 서주사이언티픽, 에이티삼일바이오 등 특구 내 12개 기업이 참여했다. 참가 기업들은 계명대 재학생과 졸업(예정)자, 취업준비생, RISE 혁신아카데미 교육생을 대상으로 기업 설명회, 채용 상담, 직무 안내, 실무 중심 인터뷰 등을 진행했다.

현장에는 10개 부스가 운영됐으며, 부대행사관에서는 재직자와 현장 전문가가 참여해 취업 컨설팅과 실무 기반 멘토링을 제공했다. 학생들은 직무 이해도와 취업 전략을 구체화할 수 있는 다양한 피드백을 받으며 높은 호응을 보였다.

이번 박람회는 1:1 맞춤형 상담 라운드를 운영해 효율성을 높였다. 사전 수요조사 기반으로 학생과 기업을 매칭한 뒤 상담을 진행하고, 행사 종료 후 자유 상담 시간을 마련해 심층적인 교류가 가능하도록 했다.

박람회에 참여한 김수빈 학생(전기공학과 4학년, 26)은 “기업별 직무 강점을 현장에서 바로 확인할 수 있어 진로 선택에 큰 도움이 됐다”며, “상담 과정에서 제 역량을 어떤 방향으로 준비하면 좋을지 구체적인 조언을 받아 취업 준비에 자신감이 생겼다”고 말했다.

김응호 계명대 이노폴리스캠퍼스 총괄책임자는 “이번 박람회는 계명대 우수 인재와 RISE 혁신아카데미 교육생이 지역 기업과 직접 연결되는 현장 기반 고용 매칭 플랫폼 역할을 수행했다”며, “앞으로도 지역 산업 구조에 맞는 전문 인재 양성과 채용 연계 모델을 지속 강화하겠다”고 밝혔다.

참여 기업들도 “단순 홍보 행사가 아니라 즉시 채용 가능성을 확인할 수 있는 실무 중심 상담 행사였다”고 평가하며, 향후 참여 의사를 밝혔다.

계명대는 이노폴리스캠퍼스 지역인력양성사업을 중심으로 지역 기업의 기술 혁신과 인력난 해소를 지원하는 다양한 산학협력 프로그램을 운영하고 있으며, 앞으로도 대구시 RISE 혁신아카데미와 연계한 현장 중심 인력 양성 체계를 지속 확대할 계획이다.

Keimyung University Hosts '2025 Tech Talent Job Fair'… Strengthening On-Site Matching with Local Companies

Keimyung University (President Shin Il-hee) hosted the '2025 Tech Talent Job Fair' at the Bauer Hall on the Seongseo Campus on November 20th, in conjunction with the Daegu Research and Development Special Zone Innopolis Campus and the Daegu City RISE Innovation Academy project.

The event was co-hosted and organized by the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Research and Development Special Zone Promotion Foundation (Daegu Research and Development Special Zone Headquarters), and Keimyung University.

Twelve companies from the special zone participated in the fair, including Daeyoung Electronics, I'm System, Perseus, STM, SJ Tech, GL, Odae, 3H, Sesin Precision, Megagen Implant, Seoju Scientific, and AT Samil Bio. Participating companies offered company information sessions, recruitment consultations, job information, and practical interviews to Keimyung University students, graduates (or soon-to-be graduates), job seekers, and RISE Innovation Academy trainees.

Ten booths were set up on-site, and in the auxiliary event hall, current employees and field experts provided career consulting and practical mentoring. Students responded enthusiastically, receiving diverse feedback that helped them understand the job and concretize their employment strategies.

This fair increased efficiency by offering one-on-one customized consultation sessions. Based on a preliminary demand survey, students and companies were matched for consultations. After the event, a free consultation session was held to facilitate in-depth exchanges.

Kim Su-bin (26, senior, Electrical Engineering), who participated in the fair, said, "Being able to immediately identify the strengths of each company's job was a huge help in choosing a career path. The consultations provided specific advice on how to best develop my skills, which gave me confidence in my job search."

Kim Eung-ho, General Manager of Keimyung University's Innopolis Campus, stated, "This fair served as a field-based employment matching platform, directly connecting Keimyung University's top talent with RISE Innovation Academy trainees and local companies." He added, "We will continue to strengthen our professional talent development and recruitment model tailored to the local industry structure."

Participating companies also expressed their interest in participating in the fair, saying, "It wasn't just a promotional event; it was a practical consultation event that allowed us to immediately identify potential hires."

Keimyung University operates various industry-academic collaboration programs, centered around the Innopolis Campus regional workforce development project, to support local companies' technological innovation and address labor shortages. Keimyung University plans to continue expanding its field-based workforce development system in conjunction with the Daegu RISE Innovation Academy.
