15일 군에 따르면 이번 행사는 2026년 1월부터 12월까지 영양군청 환경보전과와 각 읍·면사무소에서 진행되며, 군민 누구나 참여할 수 있다.

교환 대상 품목은 폐건전지, 종이팩, 투명 페트병으로, 폐건전지 5개는 새 건전지 1개, 종이팩 1kg은 휴지 2롤, 투명 페트병 20개는 쓰레기 종량제 봉투(20L) 1장으로 각각 교환할 수 있다.

임형수 환경보전과장은 “재활용품 분리배출에 대한 주민 의식은 점차 높아지고 있지만, 폐건전지 등 일부 재활용 가능 품목이 여전히 종량제 봉투로 배출되는 경우가 많다”며 “이번 행사가 군민들의 인식 개선과 자원 재활용 실천에 도움이 되기를 바라며 지속적인 관심과 참여를 당부드린다”고 말했다.

영양군은 앞으로도 지역 축제와 군민체육대회 등 각종 행사와 연계해 폐자원 교환 행사를 지속적으로 추진하며, 자원순환 사회 조성에 앞장설 계획이다.
