이번 특별노선은 팔공산의 생태적 가치를 널리 알리고 시민과 관광객이 국립공원을 보다 쉽고 알차게 즐길 수 있도록 마련됐다. 특히 올해는 가족 단위 관광객을 위한 체험형 코스를 새롭게 추가해 총 3가지 맞춤형 노선으로 운영된다.

운영 노선은 ▲팔공산의 자연과 체험을 중심으로 구성된 ‘팔공산이 품은 정품(정취와 품격 있는) 여행’ ▲자연과 역사, 체험 프로그램을 함께 즐길 수 있는 ‘자체(자연·체험) 투어’ ▲팔공산 깃대종 담비와 군위 아미타여래삼존 석굴, 한밤마을을 연결한 ‘담아밤(담비·아미타여래·한밤마을) 투어’ 등 3개 코스다.

올해 새롭게 선보이는 ‘팔공산이 품은 정품 여행’은 매월 둘째 주 일요일에 운영된다. 신숭겸 장군 유적지에서 전통 국궁 체험을 시작으로 갓바위 소원마을 내 갓바위식물원에서 진행되는 에코티어링 프로그램, 방짜유기박물관 관람 등 체험 중심 일정으로 구성됐으며 이용료는 1만 원이다.

지난해 큰 인기를 끌었던 ‘천 원 코스’ 2개 노선도 계속 운영된다. 매월 첫째·셋째 주 일요일에 진행되는 ‘자체 투어’는 전문가 해설과 함께 불로동 고분군, 동화사, 부인사 등 팔공산의 대표 역사 명소를 둘러보는 프로그램이다.

또 ‘담아밤 투어’는 팔공산 깃대종인 담비를 테마로 경북대학교 자연사박물관과 국보 제109호 군위 아미타여래삼존 석굴, 돌담길로 유명한 한밤마을을 연결해 지역 생태·문화 자원의 가치를 살펴볼 수 있도록 구성했다. 해당 프로그램은 매월 넷째 주 일요일에 운영된다.

황보란 대구시 문화체육관광국장은 “지난해 시민들의 큰 성원에 힘입어 올해도 팔공산국립공원을 쉽고 친근하게 경험할 수 있는 프로그램을 준비했다”며 “많은 시민과 관광객이 팔공산의 고품격 생태 가치를 직접 체험해 보길 바란다”고 말했다.

Daegu Metropolitan City and the Palgongsan National Park East Office announced that the 'Palgongsan National Park Eco-Tour City Tour Special Route,' which was well-received last year with approximately 780 participants, will be operated again this year.

The "Palgongsan's Authentic Tour," newly launched this year, operates on the second Sunday of every month. The experience-focused itinerary begins with a traditional archery experience at the historic site of General Shin Sung-gyeom, followed by an eco-touring program at the Gatbawi Botanical Garden in Gatbawi Wish Village, and a visit to the Bangjja Yugi Museum. The admission fee is 10,000 won.

The two "1,000 won Courses," which were extremely popular last year, will also continue to operate. The "Self-Guided Tour," held on the first and third Sundays of every month, offers expert commentary and tours of Palgongsan Mountain's representative historical sites, including the Bullodong Tombs, Donghwasa Temple, and Buinsa Temple.

The "Damabam Tour" focuses on the marten, Palgongsan Mountain's signature species. It connects the Kyungpook National University Museum of Natural History, National Treasure No. 109, the Gunwi Amitabha Buddha Triad Grottoes, and Hanbam Village, famous for its stone wall paths, to explore the value of the region's ecological and cultural resources. This program runs on the fourth Sunday of every month.

Daegu City Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau Director Hwang Bo-ran said, “Thanks to the great support from citizens last year, we have prepared a program this year that will allow citizens to experience Palgongsan National Park in an easy and friendly way,” adding, “I hope that many citizens and tourists will experience the high-quality ecological value of Palgongsan Mountain firsthand.”
