이건희미술관 대구유치 시민추진단(단장 김형기 경북대 명예교수)이 정부의 서울 입지결정에 대한 철회 규탄과 전면 재검토를 촉구하는 궐기 행사를 개최했다.

궐기대회는 김형기 시민추진단장의 궐기사를 시작으로 권영진 시장, 강은희 교육감, 장상수 시의회 의장, 김승수 의원과 함께 뜻을 같이하는 부산의 김갑용 부산예총 부회장이 영상 연대사에 나서 의미를 더했다.

또한 이점찬 대구미술협회장, 김수진 대구관광협회장,이종선 뉴대구운동 공동대표, 이재경 대구상공회의소 부회장의 결의사에 나섰으며 이건희미술관 서울건립 결정의 절차상 하자와 불공정성을 성토했다.

이들은 이의 철회와 함께 공정한 절차에 따라 비수도권을 대상으로 한 공모추진을 촉구하면서 이와 함께 대통령님께 드리는 건의문을 채택했다.

한편, 최근 코로나19 재확산에 따라 참여인원을 50명 미만으로 제한하고 명부작성, 체온체크, 마스크착용, 띄어앉기, 구호 최소화 등 수칙준수를 통해 진행되었다.
