국민의힘 송언석 의원(경북 김천)이 국정감사를 통해 인천국제공항공사와 자회사들의 과도한 복리후생비 제도 운영에 대해 비판에 나섰다.

인국공과 자회사들이 국민정서에 맞지않는 과도한 복리후생비 제도 운영으로 눈살을 찌푸리게 하고 있다. 심지어 인국공 자회사들의 경우 최대 매출액의 7%를 넘는 금액을 복리후생비로 지급한 것이 확인되어 논란이 예상된다.

인국공이 송언석 의원에게 제출한 자료에 따르면 지난해 인국공과 자회사 직원 1인당 평균 복리후생비 지급금액은 각각 401만8천원과 405만원이었다. 

이는 같은 공항계열 공기업인 한국공항공사(2020년 기준 284만2천원)와 비교해도 117만6천원 많은 금액으로 확인된다.

뿐만 아니라 15년(국가공무원의 평균 근속연수) 근속한 국가공무원이 80만 원 정도의 맞춤형 복지를 지급받고 있는데 인국공 15년차 직원의 경우 이의 3배가 넘는 250만원에 달하는 복지를 지급받고 있고 인국공 자회사들도 국가공무원의 2.3배에 달하는 185만원(단체보험 포함)을 지급하고 있어 논란은 더욱 가중될 것으로 보인다.

심지어 인국공은 사내복지기금을 기금대로 쌓아두고, 복리후생비의 일부를 공사 예산에서 지급해 온 것이 드러나 정관을 위반한 사실이 확인되었다.

이와 함께 인국공이 매년 4천~6천만원의 조의금을 예산에서 지급해왔던 것으로 확인되자 송언석 의원은 “시민 서비스 개선으로 사용할 수 있는 예산을 직원들 배 불리기에 쓴 것”이라는 강한 비판에 나섰다.

그는 “취준생들에게 큰 박탈감을 안겼던 인국공과 자회사들이 이번에는 흥청망청 복리후생비 잔치로 또 한 번 국민들을 분노하게 만들었다”고 질타했다.

그러면서 송언석 의원은 “정부는 공공기관들의 방만한 복리후생비 제도를 종합 점검하여 개선을 유도하고, 공공기관들은 국민들 눈높이에 맞도록 복리후생비 제도를 정비·운영해야 한다”고 말했다.
