그러면서 "한 달간 보조사업 전수조사를 담당한 재정점검단 등에서 소상히 설명하는 것이 시민에 대한 최소한의 행정서비스다"며 "자체적으로 나온 결과를 한 덩어리로 발표하면, 지출구조조정의 내용을 파악할 수 없을 뿐 아니라 공정성 시비에 휘말려 지출구조조정의 긍정적 의도였던, 선심성·전시성·특혜성 예산을 평가할 수 없다"고 비판했다.

우리복지시민연합은 "대구시는 683억 원을 포함한 지출구조조정의 내역을 상세하게 공개하고, 의견을 수렴하여 반영할 것을 촉구한다"며, "제2회 추경에서 시민이 체감할 수 있는 시책사업은 보이지 않는다. 시민이 체감할 수 있는 삶의 질 예산을 확충할 것을 요구한다"고 주장했다.
