대학일자리플러스센터는 저학년부터 전공별 진로지도를 강화하고, 대학을 통해 종합적인 취업 지원 서비스를 제공하기 위해 고용노동부가 지원하는 사업이다.

31일, 대구대에 따르면 지난해 3월 대학일자리플러스센터 거점형 운영대학으로 선정되어 사업을 수행해온 대구대는 운영 첫해인 2022년 고용노동부와 한국고용정보원이 주관하는 연차성과 평가에서 ‘우수’ 등급을 받았다.

해당 사업으로 대구대는 지난해 7.5억 원을 투입해 원스톱 청년취업 지원 인프라를 강화하고, 맞춤형 취업서비스 제공과 지역청년 고용지원 및 체감도 향상을 위한 다양한 프로그램을 진행했다.

특히 대학의 진로취업지원 시스템인 ‘All in Care 시스템’의 고도화와 ‘진로 취업 설계’ 필수교과목 개발 등을 통해 학생들의 진로 및 취업, 심리 상담의 시간과 횟수를 늘렸다.

이와 함께 졸업생 취업현황 전수조사 및 맞춤형 취업상담, 찾아가는 취업지원 프로그램 등을 통해 졸업생을 위한 취업 지원에도 힘을 쏟았다.

또한 반도체기업 취업연계 직무아카데미를 운영한 가운데 총 36명이 반도체기업에 취업하면서 거점형 특화프로그램을 통한 성과를 거두기도 했다.

장원구 대구대 대학일자리플러스센터장은 “대구대는 재학생과 졸업생, 지역 청년을 위한 취업 서비스를 강화하기 위해 앞으로도 대구고용센터 등 지역 유관 기관과의 협력을 통해 거점 대학으로서의 역할을 강화해 나가겠다.”고 말했다.
