이번에 선적된 샤인머스캣은 총 5.4톤으로, 영주 포도의 우수한 품질을 해외 시장에 알리고 수출 판로를 확대하는 중요한 계기가 될 것으로 기대된다. 올해 수출 목표 달성은 물론, 향후 시장 반응에 따라 추가 수출도 이어질 전망이다.

영주포도수출영농조합법인은 지역 농가가 힘을 모아 설립한 신생 법인으로, 고품질 샤인머스캣을 안정적으로 생산·유통하고 있다. 지난해 52톤의 수출 실적을 거둔 데 이어 올해는 10월 말 기준 62톤을 수출했으며, 연말까지 약 120톤 달성을 목표로 하고 있다. 또한 2026년도 경상북도 예비수출단지로 선정되며 성장 가능성을 인정받았다.

배석준 대표는 “이번 대만 수출은 영주 샤인머스캣의 해외시장 진출을 본격화하는 교두보”라며 “대만을 넘어 다양한 해외 시장 개척에도 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.

강매영 영주시 유통지원과장은 “영주 샤인머스캣은 큰 일교차와 청정 환경 속에서 재배돼 맛과 향이 뛰어난 프리미엄 품질을 갖춘다”며 “이번 수출을 계기로 지역 농가의 해외 판로 확대와 수출 경쟁력 강화를 위해 적극 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Yeongju Grape Export Agricultural Cooperative, a new corporation established through the collaboration of local farmers, steadily produces and distributes high-quality Shine Muscat grapes. Following last year's export of 52 tons, the company exported 62 tons as of the end of October this year, with a target of approximately 120 tons by the end of the year. Furthermore, its growth potential was recognized by its selection as a Gyeongsangbuk-do Preliminary Export Complex for 2026.

CEO Bae Seok-jun stated, "This export to Taiwan marks the beginning of Yeongju Shine Muscat's full-scale expansion into overseas markets. We will continue to strive to expand beyond Taiwan and explore diverse overseas markets."

Kang Mae-young, Director of the Distribution Support Division of Yeongju City, stated, "Yeongju Shine Muscat is grown in a pristine environment with large daily temperature fluctuations, resulting in a premium quality grape with exceptional flavor and aroma.
