중구노인복지관의 태평마을축제는 한 해 동안 회원들의 작품전시와 공연발표를 통해 자부심을 고취하고 회원과 지역주민이 어울리는 마을공동체 축제로 2018년 1회를 시작으로 올해 4회차를 맞이했다.
개막식을 시작으로 중구노인복지관 4~6층에서 작품전시회, 공연발표회, 태평랜드(게임존), 태평아나바다장터, 태평농산물장터 등 다채로운 행사가 진행됐다.
특히 이번 행사는 중구노인복지관 자치운영위원회를 필두로 ‘태평마을축제추진위원회’가 주체가 되어 행사를 진행하며 마을공동체 축제라는 의미를 더했다.
김창규 관장은 “중구노인복지관의 한 해를 마무리하는 태평마을축제를 통해 복지관 회원·지역주민이 함께 즐기고, 나누는 마을공동체라는 의미를 되새길 수 있어 좋았다”며 “이러한 기회가 지속적으로 만들어질 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
