4일 더불어민주당 경북도당은 “계엄령 선포 사유에도 부합하지 않고 헌법과 계엄법이 정한 비상계엄 선포의 실질적 요건을 전혀 갖추지 않은 위헌”이라며 “국민의 생명과 안전을 심각하게 위협하고 권력을 무력으로 찬탈하려는 내란행위”라고 주장했다.

그러면서 “윤석열 대통령이 즉시 하야하지 않을 시 260만 경북 도민과 함께 정권 퇴진운동에 나설 것“이라며 “민주공화국 대한민국을 수호하기 위해 결연한 마음으로 국민과 함께할 것”이라고 말했다.

진보당 경북도당은 “44년 만에 또 다시 거리에서 국회에서 총구들이 시민과 대치하는 비극적이고 반국가적인 사태가 벌어진 것”이라며 “위헌적 비상 개헌을 선포하고 군대를 동원해 국회 회의 소집을 막아 나선 윤석열 행위는 명백한 내란 범죄 행위”라고 강조했다.

아울러 “헌법을 유린한 윤석열 대통령을 즉각 체포하라”며 “국민들과 함께 윤석열 탄핵, 민주주의 수호를 위해 진보당도 모든 것을 걸고 함께 싸우겠다”는 입장을 밝혔다.
