이 가운데 종자산업기반구축사업에 선정된 고령군은 내곡리 일대 딸기 육묘 증식·보급에 필요한 첨단온실(벤로형 온실), 부대시설(저온저장고, 창고, 근로자휴게실 등), 장비(다목적 운반차 1대, 전동지게차 1대)를 지원받게 되었다고 전했다.
사업에 투입되는 예산은 총 22억7,400만원(국비10억 원, 도비3억 원, 시군비9억7,400만원)으로 고령군은 딸기 우량묘 재배를 위한 체계를 구축하고 안정적인 딸기 재배 및 생산성 향상을 위한 기반을 마련할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
