【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=경북교육청(교육감 임종식)이 고교학점제 정착을 위해 대구·경북지역 9개 대학과 협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

29일 경북교육청은 대구대학교에서 고교학점제 지원 체제 구축을 위해 경북대, 계명대, 금오공과대, 대구카롤릭대, 대구대, 대구한의대, 안동대, 영남대, 한동대 등 대구·경북지역 9개 대학과 업무협약을 맺고 고교 학점제 안착을 위해 박차를 가한다는 계획을 밝혔다.

협약을 체결한 기관들은 ▶고교학점제 지원 프로그램 활성화 ▶고교학점제 전문성 강화 ▶경북 교육행정기관 및 고등학교와의 교류 활성화 ▶기타 고교학점제 운영에 필요한 사항에 적극 협력할 것을 약속했다.

또한 9개 대학은 각 대학의 특성화된 인적·물적 우수 자원을 도내 일반 고등학교에 적극 지원하여 고교학점제가 보다 안정적으로 정착될 수 있도록 도울 예정이다.

아울러 교육 협력 체제 확대를 통한 우수 인재 양성으로 고등학교와 대학교 간 상호 발전할 수 있는 계기를 마련한다.

경북교육청은 지난 4년간 지역의 대학들과 고교학점제 지원 협조 체제를 구축하고 운영기반을 공고히 해왔다고 밝히며 앞으로도 지역 대학과의 상호 협력을 통해 교원의 전문성 강화를 위한 연수를 확대하고, 공동교육과정 운영 활성화를 위한 강사 인력풀도 확대해 나갈 계획이라고 전했다.

 임종식 교육감은 “이번 업무협약을 통해 학교-교육청-대학 간 협력적 교육 네트워크를 활성화하고, 지역의 공동교육 생태계를 구축함으로써 미래형 교육 협력 모델을 통한 경북형 고교학점제의 안착을 적극적으로 추진해 나가겠다.”고 말했다.
