정수환 고문은 6년간(2015년~2021년) 대구동구청소년지도협의회 회장으로 청소년을 위한 건전한 성장환경 조성을 위해 적극적으로 노력했다.
특히 청소년자살예방을 위한 생명사랑 밤길 걷기 캠페인을 비롯해 청소년 탈선 예방을 위한 선도·보호캠페인을 주도하고 청소년을 위한 멘티·멘토 활동, 저소득 청소년 경제적 후원 및 봉사활동을 30년간 꾸준히 지속해왔다.
