【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자= 대구 달서구(구청장 이태훈)는 오는 7일 ‘2022 다문화 한글백일장’을 개최한다고 6일 밝혔다.
올해로 14회째를 맞이하는 다문화 한글 백일장은 제575돌 한글날을 기념하고 외국인 주민의 한국어 향상과 한글 학습의욕을 높이기 위해 2009년부터 매년 개최되고 있다.
이번 행사에서는 한국 거주기간 5년 미만의 결혼이민자 및 외국인주민은 시화부, 한국 거주기간 5년 이상은 수필부에서 각자의 기량을 마음껏 뽐 낼 예정이다.
외국인주민에 ‘자음모음 패브릭 포스터 만들기’ 체험을 통해 한글의 과학적 우수성을 알리는 기회를 마련하고, 백일장 행사에 참여하는 원생들을 위해 다양한 나라의 전통 장난감을 만드는 체험도 실시한다.
우수작은 심사를 거쳐 오는 16일 달서아트센터에서 열리는 제12회 다문화축제 개회식에서 시상할 계획이다.
이태훈 달서구청장은 “한국의 정취가 물씬 풍기는 병암서원에서 내‧외국인주민들과 함께하는 백일장 행사가 열려 의미가 깊다”며 “다문화 한글백일장이 외국인주민들에게는 한글 실력향상의 기회가 되고, 지역주민들에게는 다문화를 이해하는 소중한 기회가 되길 바란다”고 밝혔다.

An opportunity to inform foreign residents of the scientific excellence of Hangeul through the experience of ‘making a poster of consonant vowels’ will be provided, and an experience of making traditional toys from various countries will be conducted for the students participating in the 100 Day Festival.
The best works will be judged and awarded at the opening ceremony of the 12th Multicultural Festival to be held at the Dalseo Art Center on the 16th.
Dalseo-gu mayor Lee Tae-hoon said, “It is meaningful to hold a 100-day market event with local and foreign residents at Byeongam Seowon, where the atmosphere of Korea exudes. I hope it will be a valuable opportunity to understand.”
