【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=대구 수성구(구청장 김대권)는  ‘2022년 제1회 대한민국 평생학습도시 좋은 정책 AWARD(어워드)’ 공모에서 3관왕을 차지했다고 26일 밝혔다.

전국평생학습도시협의회가 주관한 이번 공모는 2022년 한 해 동안 평생학습도시의 가치를 실현하며 타 기관에 귀감이 되는 우수 평생교육 정책을 추진한 기관을 선정하기 위해 추진됐다. 

지난 18일 서울 세종문화회관에서 열린 시상식에서 수성구는 ‘좋은 정책상’ 1건, ‘평생교육사 신인상’과 ‘인물상’ 2건 등 총 3건을 수상했다.

미래 사회에 필요한 핵심역량 강화를 위한 창의융합교육을 실시하는 ‘수성 메이커 교육센터 운영’으로 ‘좋은 정책상’을 수상했다.

 ‘평생교육사’ 분야에서는 안현숙 평생교육사가 평생학습 활성화 및 평생학습도시 지정에 이바지한 공로를 인정받아 ‘인물상’을 수상했으며, 수성 메이커 교육 담당자인 안선경 평생교육사가 신입 평생교육사를 대상으로 한 ‘신인상’을 수상했다.

김대권 수성구청장은 “이번 평생학습도시 정책 어워드 선정을 통해 우수한 수성구의 사례를 알릴 수 있어서 기쁘다.”며, “이를 계기로 올해는 디지털 대전환 등 시대적 변화에 대응해 맞춤형 평생학습정책을 마련하여 대한민국 대표 평생학습도시로서 선도해 나가겠다.”고 밝혔다.
