【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구한의대학교(총장 변창훈) LINC3.0사업단이 글로벌 컨텍트 프로그램으로 일본 현지 대학 견학을 실시했다.

대구한의대 반려동물보건학과 재학생 10명은 지난 2월 7일부터 2월 10일까지 3박 4일 일정으로 도쿄 테이쿄 헤이세이 대학과 야마자키 동물보건기술대학을 방문해 탐방 및 학생 교류회를 진행하고 현지의 학생들을 만나 질의 응답하는 시간을 가졌다고 15일 밝혔다.

이번 탐방은 일본의 동물보건 교육과 산업의 현황을 직접 파악하고 이를 학과 내 프로그램에 접목시켜보는 기회를 통해 재학생들의 국제적 협업 능력 향상과 글로벌 상호협력 역량 증가가 기대된다.

프로그램에 참여한 박다인 학생(반려동물보건학과 1학년)은 “학생 교류회를 통해 일본의 각 대학의 특성 및 진로에 대한 설명을 듣다보니 해외 취업이라는 관심이 생겼다.”면서 “앞으로도 해외 대학 교류 및 해외취업으로 이어지는 프로그램이 많아지면 좋겠다.”고 소감을 밝혔다. 

대구한의대학교 반려동물보건학과 학과장 이재연 교수는 “이번 프로그램을 통해 학과 재학생들의 진로 설계에 대한 확립이 되었으며, 앞으로 이러한 해외프로그램을 통해 인성과 실무역량이 융합된 글로벌 인재가 양성될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다.” 라고 소감을 밝혔다.
