【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=경북교육청(교육감 임종식)이 초등학생 경제 교육 강화에 나섰다.

5일 교육청은 초등학생들이 현명한 경제생활 습관과 사고력을 함양할 수 있도록 하기 위해 경제교육 교수·학습자료를 발간·배부했다고 밝혔다.

해당 자료는 도내 전 초등학교 6학년 학생 및 담임교사에게 배부되어 초등학교 6학년 교육과정 연계 경제교육 자료로 활용하고, 5학년 범교과 학습 주제 경제·금융 교육 연계 활용을 확대할 예정이다.

자료는 ▶1장 어떻게 돈을 벌고 쓸 수 있을까? ▶2장 어떻게 소득을 늘릴 수 있을까? ▶3장 나라끼리 경쟁하고 협력하는 이유는 무엇일까? ▶4장 소비로 사회문제를 해결할 수 있을까?’로 대단원을 구성하고 총 10차시 수업을 제시했다. 

또한 이번 교수·학습자료는 교사의 수업 지원을 위해 교사용 지도서도 동시 발간·배부했다. 교사용 지도서에는 수업에 필요한 영상 자료와 교수·학습 지도 자료, 읽을거리가 탑재되었다.

경북교육청은 급변하는 경제 환경에 이번 교수·학습 자료가 초등학교 고학년 학생들의 경제소양 함양에 도움이 되기를 기대하고 있다.

임종식 교육감은 “이번 경제교육 교수·학습자료 발간은 실천형 경제교육을 통해 시대적 변화에 유연하게 대처하는 미래 경제 인재를 양성하는 기회가 될 것”이라며 “미래 사회에 필요한 경제 의식을 함양을 위해 다양한 정책을 지속적으로 추진하겠다”고 말했다.

The Gyeongbuk Office of Education hopes that this teaching and learning material will be helpful in developing economic literacy for upper elementary school students in a rapidly changing economic environment.
