【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 북구청(청장 배광식)은 지난 19일 구자술 주민참여예산위원장과 위원 13명 등 총 18명이 참여한 가운데 주민제안사업 5곳에 대한 현장 확인을 실시했다. 

이번 점검은 제안사업의 실현 가능성과 주민 수요를 꼼꼼히 살피기 위해 진행됐다.

위원들은 1차 분과위원회에서 투표로 선정된 산격종합시장 입구 노후화 시설 개량 사업지를 포함한 4곳의 사업 현장을 방문했다. 산격종합시장 입구는 낡은 시설로 이용객 불편이 잇따라 제기돼 시급한 개선이 필요하다는 점이 확인됐다.

한편, 산격공영주차장 입구와 무지개공영주차장의 자전거 거치대 교체 사업지에서는 예산 절감을 위해 교체 대신 청소 및 부분 도색이 적절하다는 의견과, 주변 차량 통행에 지장을 주지 않는 범위 내 적정 규모로 교체해야 한다는 의견이 엇갈렸다.

구자술 북구 주민참여예산위원장은 “현장 경험과 위원 간 토론을 통해 답을 찾아가는 뜻깊은 시간이었다”며 “앞으로도 주민 눈높이에 맞는 예산 집행을 위해 책임감 있게 활동하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Gu Ja-sul, the head of the Buk-gu Citizen Participation Budget Committee, said, “It was a meaningful time to find answers through on-site experience and discussions among the committee members,” and added, “We will continue to work responsibly to execute the budget in line with the residents’ expectations.”
