【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구광역시는 설 명절을 앞두고 시민들이 안심하고 식품을 구매·섭취할 수 있도록 9개 구·군 및 소비자식품위생감시원과 함께 명절 다소비 식품을 취급하는 위생업소에 대한 합동점검을 실시한다.
이번 점검은 오는 1월 19일부터 23일까지 5일간 진행되며, 한과·떡·건강기능식품 등 명절 기간 수요가 집중되는 식품을 제조·판매·조리하는 식품위생업소 166개소를 대상으로 한다. 특히 최근 3년간 행정처분 이력이 있는 업소를 우선 점검해 식품 안전 관리의 실효성을 높일 방침이다.
점검 대상은 ▲떡·한과·두부·만두 등을 제조하는 식품제조·가공업소 45개소 ▲제사 및 명절 음식을 조리·판매하는 즉석판매제조·가공업소 18개소 ▲식품접객업소 45개소 ▲대형마트·백화점 등 식품유통·판매업소 36개소 ▲건강기능식품일반판매업소 22개소 등이다.
시는 조리장과 조리도구의 청결 관리 상태를 비롯해 종사자의 건강진단 여부, 위생모·마스크 착용 등 개인위생 관리 실태를 중점 점검한다. 이와 함께 식품 표시기준 및 보관기준 준수 여부, 관련 법령에 따른 시설기준과 영업자 준수사항 이행 여부도 꼼꼼히 확인할 예정이다. 위반사항이 적발될 경우 확인서 징구, 고발 등 관련 법령에 따른 행정조치를 취한다.
아울러 위생점검과 병행해 명절 다소비 식품에 대한 수거검사도 실시한다. 검사 대상은 ▲튀김·전 등 조리식품 30건 ▲떡·한과·식용유 등 가공식품 20건 ▲명태·조기·굴비·문어·돔배기 등 수산물 10건 등 총 60건으로, 식품 안전성을 한층 강화할 계획이다.
한편 대구시는 지난해 명절을 앞두고 성수식품 제조·판매업소 400개소를 점검해 위반업소 6곳을 적발해 행정처분했으며, 명절 다소비 식품 110건을 수거·검사한 결과 부적합 사례는 없는 것으로 나타났다.
이재홍 대구광역시 보건복지국장은 “명절을 맞아 선물용과 제수용 식품 수요가 크게 늘어나는 만큼, 시민들이 안전한 식품을 믿고 구매할 수 있도록 식품안전 관리에 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.

The inspections, which will run for five days from January 19th to 23rd, will target 166 food hygiene businesses that manufacture, sell, and prepare foods with high demand during the holiday season, such as Korean traditional sweets (hangwa), rice cakes (tteok), and health functional foods. Priority will be given to businesses with a history of administrative sanctions in the past three years to enhance the effectiveness of food safety management.
The inspection targets include: 45 food manufacturing and processing facilities producing rice cakes, Korean traditional sweets, tofu, and dumplings; 18 ready-to-eat manufacturing and processing facilities preparing and selling ancestral rites and holiday food; 45 food service establishments; 36 food distribution and sales establishments, including hypermarkets and department stores; and 22 general health functional food retailers.
The city will focus on the cleanliness of kitchens and cooking utensils, as well as employee health checkups and personal hygiene practices, including the wearing of sanitary caps and masks. Furthermore, the city will thoroughly inspect compliance with food labeling and storage standards, facility standards, and business compliance requirements as stipulated by relevant laws and regulations. If violations are detected, administrative measures will be taken in accordance with relevant laws, including the collection of certificates and the filing of complaints.
Furthermore, in conjunction with hygiene inspections, the city will also conduct collection and inspection of food products consumed in large quantities during the holidays. The inspection targets a total of 60 items: 30 cooked foods such as fried foods and pancakes; 20 processed foods such as rice cakes, Korean traditional sweets, and cooking oil; and 10 seafood products such as pollack, croaker, dried pollack, octopus, and sea bream. Lee Jae-hong, Director of the Daegu Metropolitan City Health and Welfare Bureau, stated, "With the holiday season bringing a significant increase in demand for food for gifts and ancestral rites, we will do our utmost to manage food safety so that citizens can purchase safe food with confidence."
