지난 22일 오후 5시40분께 대구시 동구 능성동 팔공산 자락 도학사 인근 야산에서 불이 났다.

이에 소방당국은 대응1단계를 발령하고 소방관 70여명과 소방차 23대를 동원해 불길을 잡았다.

정확한 화재원인은 아직 밝혀지지 않아 조사 중에 있으며 화재 초기 바람이 불어 화재 진압에 어려움을 겪었으나 현재 주불은 잡힌 것으로 알려진다.
