【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구시가 6월 조기대선에 나서는 각 정당 후보들에게 건의할 지역공약 발굴을 발표할 예정이라고 14일 밝혔다.

지역공약 최종안은 대선 후보가 확정되기 전인 25일까지 확정 지어 발표할 계획이다.

오는 15일 ‘21대 대선 지역 공약 보고회’에서 핵심사업에 대한 검토와 논의를 진행한다.

총 20개 사업은 총사업비 78조 원 규모다. 대구시는 TK신공항 건설, 군부대 통합 이전 등 주요 핵심 대형 사업들이 차기 정부의 국정과제로 채택되는데 중점을 두고 있다.

국가균형발전을 위한 ‘TK신공항 중심의 남부거대경제권 조성’을 추진한다. 신공항 건설 공자기금 지원, 달빛철도 조기 착공, TK특별시 출범 등 국가 지원이 시급한 사항이 포함됐다.

대구․광주 두 지역의 군공항을 이전해 신공항 중심의 경제권을 구축하고 달빛철도로 연결한다는 구상으로 TK신공항·달빛철도 건설을 양당 후보 모두의 핵심공약으로 만들고자 한다.

‘미래신산업 전환’은 지속 추진한다. AI·반도체·로봇·미래모빌리티·헬스케어 등 5대 미래신산업 육성뿐만 아니라 전통산업인 섬유산업의 첨단테크 산업으로의 패러다임 전환을 추진한다.

도심 군부대 이전 및 후적지 개발, 대구 취수원 안동댐 이전 등의 사업들도 수록됐다.

시민이 행복하고 살기 좋은 대구를 만들기 위해 명품 금호강 조성, 서대구역세권 개발, 대구교도소·법원 후적지 개발 등의 사업이 포함됐다.

김정기 대구시장 권한대행은 “향후 대선 후보가 결정되는 대로 대선 후보와 주요 정당을 방문해 지역 공약을 전달·설명할 예정이다”며 “공약 반영을 위해 정치권 등 관계자와 적극 힘을 모으겠다”고 말했다.
