【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=대구 동구청(구청장 윤석준)이 ‘자랑스러운 동구인상’ 수상 후보자 접수를 시작한다고 27일 밝혔다.
지난 1987년 ‘향토봉사대상’으로 시작된 ‘자랑스러운 동구인상’은 2004년 현재 명칭으로 변경돼 올해로 18회째다. 지역사회 발전을 위해 헌신하고, 선행·봉사활동을 통해 명랑하고 살기 좋은 분위기 조성에 뚜렷한 공적을 쌓은 구민을 매년 발굴해 표창하고 있다.
대상자는 동구에 거주하면서 지역사회발전, 타인의 생명과 재산 보호, 불우이웃돕기, 효행이 극진해 타의 귀감이 됐거나, 문화·예술·과학·체육·경제분야 진흥에 공적이 있으면 된다.
접수는 오는 9월 2일까지 받으며, 거주지 동장, 구청 부서장 또는 기관·단체장의 추천을 받은 추천서, 공적조서, 이력서를 구청 또는 동 행정복지센터에 제출하면 된다.
수상자는 공적심의회 심사를 거쳐 10월 중 결정되며, 주민화합 행사를 통해 시상한다. 수상자에게는 자랑스러운 동구인상 증서를 수여한다.
윤석준 동구청장은 “코로나19로 힘든 시기에 지역사회 발전을 위해 헌신하고 봉사한 동구 구민을 적극 발굴해 따뜻한 지역사회를 만들어 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
