시는 1월 6일 시청 대회의실에서 ‘2026년 지역경제 활성화를 위한 건설분야 조기발주 발대식’을 개최하고, 신속한 발주와 집행을 통해 민생 회복과 일자리 창출에 행정 역량을 집중하겠다고 밝혔다.

올해 조기발주 대상사업은 치수·방재, 도로, 상·하수도, 농촌개발, 공원조성 등 총 410건, 1,471억 원 규모다. 이 가운데 국·도비 보조사업은 82건 694억 원, 자체사업은 328건 777억 원으로 구성됐다.

특히 전체 발주사업의 약 절반에 해당하는 207건(120억 원)을 자체 설계로 추진해 약 7억 원의 예산 절감 효과가 기대된다. 이는 재정 효율성을 높이는 동시에 사업 추진 속도를 끌어올리는 계기가 될 전망이다.

구미시는 조기발주 성과를 안정적으로 달성하기 위해 도시건설국장을 단장으로 하는 ‘조기발주 설계추진단’을 구성해 운영한다. 추진단은 4개 반으로 나뉘어 상반기 조기발주율 95% 이상, 신속집행률 55% 이상 달성을 목표로 한다.

또한 부서 합동 분할발주 의무 사전검토제 시행과 하도급 참여 독려 등을 병행해 지역건설업체 참여를 확대하고, 지역건설산업 활성화를 적극 뒷받침할 계획이다.
