국민의힘이 백현동 옹벽아파트 개발과정 특혜의혹과 관련하여 이재명 경기도지사 등 관계자 5명을 검찰에 고발했다.

지난 1일 국민의힘 법률자문위원회 부위원장인 정상환 변호사는 국회의원 유상범(강원 홍천·횡성·영월·평창), 전주혜(비례) 의원과 함께 이재명 전 경기지사, 심기보 전 성남시부시장, 정진상 전 성남시 정책실장 등을 고발했다고 밝혔다.

이번 고발은 최근 언론에서 집중 보도되고 있는 ‘높이 50m에 달하는 옹벽설치와 아파트 개발과정에서 4단계로 상승한 용도지역 변경 등’특혜의혹 혐의가 다루어질 전망이다.

앞서 이재명 전 경기지사는 최측근으로 알려진 김인섭 전 선대본부장이 시행사로 영입된 후 그동안 사업추진이 지지부진했던 백현동 옹벽아파트 개발계획이 급물살을 탄 것에 대해 "(박근혜 정부의) 국토교통부가 직무유기로 문제 삼겠다고 협박해 어쩔 수 없이 용도변경을 해 준 것"이라고 설명했다.

고발장을 접수한 정상환 국민의힘 법률자문위원회 부위원장(전 국가인권위원회 상임위원)은 “이재명 전 지사의 백현동 옹벽아파트 개발과정의 특혜의혹에 대해 국민대다수가 의구심을 가지는 중대한 사안인 만큼, 검찰은 신속하게 조사를 해서 국민 앞에 실상을 낱낱이 밝혀야 한다”고 말했다.
