임준희 경북교육감 예비후보는 ‘모두 성공하는 행복교육’을 기치로 내걸고 선거사무소 개소식을 개최했다.
지난달 30일 오후 2시 포항시 포스코대로에 있는 선거사무소에서 개최한 임준희 예비후보의 개소식에는 각계각층의 내빈 1,000여명이 참석한 가운데 열렬한 성원과 지지 속에 진행되었다.
이날 개소식에는 공동선대위원장을 맡은 박맹언 전)부경대 총장을 비롯하여, 천태오 전)경산교육지원청 교육장, 김연숙 전)대구 남부교육지원청 교육장, 그리고 상임고문을 맡은 조영철 경북향교전교협의회 회장 등의 인사들이 참석하며 눈길을 끌었다.
임준희 예비후보는 “저를 성원해주시기 위해 왕림해주신 모든 분들께 감사의 말씀을 드린다”고 인사말을 전했다.
아울러 그는 “현재 경북교육은 제왕적 교육감의 정실인사와 소통부재의 폐쇄적인 관료주의 폐단, 그리고 전시행정으로 인한 예산낭비 등 전체적으로 조직의 활력이 떨어져 썩은 고인물과도 같다.”고 꼬집으며 “제가 교육감이 되면 이러한 각종 폐단과 잘못된 관행을 일소하여 ‘경북교육 바로세우기’에 전력을 다해 활기차고 미래지향적인 경북교육으로 대전환을 이루겠다.”며 경북교육의 미래상을 피력했다.
