각계각층 주민대표 16명으로 구성된 공약이행 구민평가단은 민선8기 공약사업의 확정과 변경사항에 대한 자문, 공약 우선순위 선정과 실천계획 및 이행상황에 대하여 정기적으로 평가하게 된다.

이날 보고회는 민선8기 공약사업에 대한 총괄 보고를 청취하고 공약사업별 실천계획에 대해 심도 있게 토론하였으며 보완된 최종 의견을 수렴하여 46개 공약에 대한 성공적인 실천방안을 마련했다. 

동구청은 이를 반영하여 민선8기 구청장 공약을 최종 확정하였으며 확정된 공약 사업은 홈페이지에 공개할 예정이다.

윤석준 동구청장은 “구민평가단이 함께하는 이유는 내실 있고 투명한 평가의 틀을 마련하고 구민과 함께 구민의 입장에서 공약을 추진하기 위함이다."며"구민 모두가 활짝 웃는 따뜻한 공동체, 내일이 더 기대되는 동구의 완성을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
