【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구보건대학교(총장 남성희)는 고용노동부 한국산업인력공단에서 주관하는 청해진(청년해외진출)대학 사업에 6년 연속 선정되는 쾌거를 이루었다.

청해진대학 사업은 청년들이 해외 유망한 전문 직종으로 진출하기 위한 전략적 거점이 될 역량이 있는 대학을 선정해 해외취업을 체계적으로 준비할 수 있도록 중장기적인 통합 프로그램 운영을 지원하는 사업으로 매년 해외취업 목표인원 1인당 최대 1천만원을 지원받을 수 있으며 사업성과에 따라 최대 5년간 사업을 수행할 수 있다.

올해 대구보건대가 선정된 사업은 치기공 전문가 연수 과정으로 사업추진은 3월부터 내년 2월까지이다.

참여학생은 어학능력, 전공성적, 면접 등에 평가를 통해 예비자과정(1 ‧ 2학년) 60명과 본과정(3학년) 20명, 총 80명을 선발하며 선발된 학생은 미국 CDT(Certificated Dental Technician), 캐나다 DT(Dental Technician), 독일 마이스터 자격증 취득을 위한 전공영어, 직무교육, 현장실습 등의 프로그램에 참가하게 된다.

특히, 본과정에 참여하는 학생(2022년 졸업예정자)들은 600시간의 연수과정 이수 후 캐나다, 뉴질랜드, 독일, 인도네시아 등 근로조건이 사전 협의된 해외산업체로 취업하게 된다. 

지난 3년간 청해진대학 사업을 통해 미국, 캐나다, 독일 등으로 해외 취업한 학생은 총 49명이다.

국제교육팀 최병환(치기공과 교수)팀장은“팬데믹에 따른 해외취업환경 변화를 발 빠르게 대응하고 해외산업체와 지속적인 소통으로 2016년부터 6년간 청해진 사업에 선정될 수 있었다”며“오래 축척된 노하우를 토대로 현장실무 역량과 글로벌 경쟁력을 갖춘 세계적 수준의 전문 직업인 양성을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

The Cheonghaejin University Project is a project that supports the operation of a mid- to long-term integrated program so that young people can systematically prepare for overseas employment by selecting universities with the ability to become a strategic base for entering into promising overseas professional occupations. Up to 10 million won per person can be supported and the project can be carried out for up to 5 years depending on the business performance.

The project selected by Daegu Health College this year is a training course for dental technicians, and the project is promoted from March to February next year.

Participating students are evaluated for language proficiency, major grades, interviews, etc. to select 60 students in the preliminary course (1st and 2nd year) and 20 students in the main course (3rd year), and a total of 80 students are selected. ), Canadian DT (Dental Technician), German major English for obtaining Meister certification, job training, field training, etc.

In particular, students (those who are expected to graduate in 2022) who participate in this program will be employed as foreign companies in Canada, New Zealand, Germany, Indonesia, etc. whose working conditions have been previously agreed upon after completing the 600-hour training course.

A total of 49 students have worked abroad in the United States, Canada, and Germany through the Cheonghaejin University project over the past three years.
