【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구시가 ‘대구 군 공항 이전부지 조성 기초조사 용역’에 착수한다고 29일 밝혔다. 용역은 2026년 초 착공을 목표로 내년 7월까지 완료할 계획이다.
대구시는 지난 2022년 대구 군 공항 이전 기본계획 수립을 시작으로 2023년 기획재정부의 기부대양여 심의, 국방부와의 합의각서 체결, 사업시행자 지정을 거쳐 현재 사업계획 승인 절차를 진행하고 있다.
이번 용역은 향후 사업대행자(SPC)가 선정되면 실시설계 등의 후속 절차를 원활하고 신속하게 진행할 수 있도록 대구시가 직접 각종 기초 조사를 시행해 이전부지 조성계획을 수립하기 위해 선제적으로 시행하는 용역이다.
대구시는 용역의 필요성, 시급성을 감안해 금년 4월 추경예산을 편성하고 5월 참여업체 모집 공고 이후, ㈜유신을 대표사로 하는 5개 사 컨소시엄이 최종 낙찰자로 선정돼 과업을 수행하게 됐다고 밝혔다.
대구시는 부지조성 공사에 소요되는 비용이 약3조 원에 육박하는 대규모 사업임을 감안해 드론을 활용한 측량기술과 빌딩정보모델링(BIM) 기술을 활용한 토공 설계 등 스마트 건설·설계기술을 적용하여 공사비를 절감하고 건설기간이 단축되도록 최적의 부지조성계획을 수립할 계획이다.
이번 용역 이후 대구시와 사업대행자(SPC)는 토지보상, 실시설계 등 후속 절차를 진행해 2026년 2월 첫 삽을 뜰 계획으로 2029년 조기개항 목표에 한 걸음 더 나아갈 예정이다.
나웅진 대구광역시 공항건설단장은 “현재까지 국방부 사업계획 승인을 위한 중앙 행정기관과의 협의를 진행해 오고 있고, 오는 9월 24일(화)까지 사업에 참여할 민간참여자를 모집하는 등 추진 절차가 원활히 진행되고 있다”며 “이와 연계해 이번 용역이 TK신공항 건설에 중요한 발판이 될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

We will do our best to link this with this and make this service an important stepping stone for the construction of TK New Airport.”
