더불어민주당 권리당원들이 제20대 대선 패배의 원인으로 대구시당의 무능을 지적하며 시당위원장과 지역위원장들의 사퇴를 요구하고 나섰다.

지난 3월 9일 치러진 제20대 대통령선거에서 이재명 후보가 0.73% 라는 역대 최소 차이로 패배한 가운데 10일 대구시선대위가 해단식 과정에서 박창달 대구경북총괄선대위원장이 노래를 부르고, 김대진 시당위원장이 박수를 치며 환호하고 참석자 일부가 앵콜을 외치는 영상을 SNS에 올려 지지자 및 당원들의 분노를 사는 일이 발생했다.

이에 더불어민주당 권리당원들은 “민주당 대구시당은 지지해준 대구시민에 대한 감사와 극심한 패배감에 시달리는 당원들에게 지난 대선 과정에 대한 성찰이나 반성의 논평 한 줄 없다”고 비판하며 규탄 성명을 발표했다.

이들은 “대구시선대위는 선거과정에서도 조직력을 보이지 못하고, 변변한 회의조차 없었을 뿐 아니라 인사 배제 및 경질 등을 일삼아 오히려 선거에 방해가 되는 모습을 보여 왔다.”고 꼬집으며 “뿐만 아니라 선거 시기 당력을 총집결해야 하는 상황에서 일부 지방의원들을 윤리위에 회부 하는 등의 행위로 오히려 분열을 획책했다.”고 주장했다. 

또한 “공천권을 무기로 김대진 시당위원장의 말에 복종하는 지방의원들에게 얄팍한 기대를 주어 대의와 명분이 아니라 사익에 복무하도록 한 저열한 정치공작“이라고 강하게 비판을 이어갔다.

민주당 권리당원들은 “현 체제로 다시 선거에 임한다면 패배가 자명하다.”면서 더불어민주당 대구시당에 대해 ▶김대진 시당위원장을 비롯한 12개 지역위원장 전원사퇴  ▶대구시당 특별당무 감사실시 ▶비대위체제 전환하여 지방선거 치를 것 등을 촉구했다.

He continued to criticize it strongly as “a low-level political operation that gave thin expectations to local councilors who obeyed the words of Kim Dae-jin, the city’s leader, using the right to nomination as a weapon to serve their own interests rather than a cause or cause.”

Regarding the Democratic Party of Daegu City, the Democratic Rights Party members said, "If we run again with the current system, we will lose." He called for local elections.
