지난 6일 윤석열 대통령에 대한 고위공직자범죄수사처(공수처)의 체포영장 집행을 막기 위해 국민의힘 국회의원 44명이 한남동 대통령 관저 앞에 집결했다.

이에 민주당 대구시당은 “부끄러운 줄 알아야 한다”며 “대구의 수치이자 치욕”이라고 꼬집었다.

이들은 “대구는 228학생운동을 비롯 일제강점기 가장 많은 독립투사를 배출한 도시”라며 “일제군경의 군화발에도 목숨으로 항거했던 거룩한 도시가 독재와 대통령 쿠데타 옹호 도시로 몰락해가는 모습이 가슴 아프다”고 말했다.

그러면서 “현실의 재판에서 법꾸라지의 비루한 법 논쟁은 있을 수 있으나 역사의 심판에서 후손들은 윤석열과 함께 영원히 기억할 이름”이라며 거듭해서 참석한 국회의원 명단을 강조했다.
