이들은 “더불어민주당은 헌법재판소의 독립성을 무너뜨리고 29번의 탄핵 남발로 국정을 마비시켰다”며 “명백한 국정 발목잡기이자 국민에 대한 배신”이라고 비판했다.

또한 “민주당은 국가 운영에 필요한 2025년도 예산을 대폭 삭감하면서도 정작 자신들의 정치적 이익을 위한 예산은 유지하는 내로남불 행태를 보이고 있다”고 꼬집었다.

이어 “이재명 대표는 각종 의혹과 논란에 대해 성실히 해명하기 보다 이를 정치 탄압으로 규정해 국민 분열을 조장했다”며 “민주당은 이재명 대표의 사법 리스크를 방어하기 위해 방탄 국회 운영을 강행하는 등 법치주의를 무너뜨리고 있다”고 설명했다.

국민의힘 기초의원들은 “국민의 목소리를 끝까지 무시한다면 더욱 강력한 행동으로 맞설 것”이라며 “국민의 이름으로 반드시 심판할 것”이라고 덧붙였다.

이에 더불어민주당 대구시당은 “극단적 진영 정치를 불러일으킨 것은 윤석열 대통령과 국민의힘”이라며 “민주당이 독재당이라는 말은 어불성설”이라는 입장을 전했다.
