【브레이크뉴스 대구 】박은정 기자= 달성군(군수 최재훈)은 다문화가족 70여 명과 경주를 방문하여 한국의 미를 체험하는 행사를 개최했다고 25일 밝혔다.
달성군여성단체협의회(회장 남명숙) 주최로 열린 이번 행사는 다문화가족 및 여성단체협의회 회원 등 90여 명이 참석한 가운데 진행됐다.
이날 참석한 다문화가족들은 한복을 입고 우리의 전통 디저트인 화과자 만들기 체험뿐만 아니라, 옛 신라의 모습을 간직한 경주 대릉원 일대를 둘러보는 시간을 가졌다.
최재훈 달성군수는“이번 행사를 계기로 한국에서 살아가는 다문화가족들이 다양한 체험을 통해 한국 특유의 정서를 이해하고, 우리 사회의 당당한 구성원으로 살아갈 수 있는 시간이 되길 바란다.”며“앞으로 다문화가정이 지역사회에서 단단히 자리매김할 수 있도록 다양한 정책을 고민하겠다고 약속했다.”고 밝혔다.
