■ ‘K보듬 6000’ 설 연휴 정상 운영

‘K보듬 6000’은 영유아부터 초등학생까지 시간과 요일의 제약 없이 돌봄 서비스를 제공하는 경북형 완전 돌봄의 핵심 사업이다. 평일 밤 12시까지는 물론, 주말과 공휴일에도 운영된다. 현재 12개 시군 74개소에서 운영 중이며, 올해는 전 시군 97개소로 확대해 접근성을 높일 계획이다.

설 연휴 기간(2월 14일~2월 18일)에도 주요 ‘K보듬 6000’ 시설을 정상 운영해 빈틈없는 돌봄 서비스를 제공한다. 이용을 희망하는 보호자는 ‘경상북도 아동돌봄통합지원센터’ 홈페이지를 통해 거주지 인근 운영 시설을 확인한 뒤 사전 신청하면 된다.

■ 돌봄 인력 확충·처우 개선 병행

경북도는 단기 연휴 대책을 넘어 돌봄 서비스의 질적 향상을 위한 제도 개선도 추진한다. 수요 증가에 대비해 △아이돌보미 300명 신규 채용 △돌보미 수당 5% 인상 △유아돌봄 및 야간 긴급돌봄 수당 신설 △월 60시간 이상 근로 아이돌보미에 월 10만 원 추가 지원 등 처우 개선책을 시행한다. 이를 통해 장기 근속을 유도하고 서비스 대기 문제를 완화해 이용자 만족도를 높일 계획이다.

이치헌 경상북도 저출생극복본부장은 “설 연휴에 아이를 맡길 곳이 없어 어려움을 겪는 가정이 없도록 현장 중심 돌봄 지원을 강화했다”며 “아이 한 명, 한 명을 지역사회가 함께 돌보는 체계를 구축해 부모는 육아 부담을 덜고 아이는 안전하게 성장할 수 있는 환경을 만들겠다”고 밝혔다.

Gyeongsangbuk-do Province is pursuing systemic improvements to enhance the quality of care services beyond short-term holiday measures. To address the growing demand, the province will implement various measures to improve working conditions, including hiring 300 new childcare providers, increasing childcare allowances by 5%, introducing childcare and nighttime emergency care allowances, and providing an additional KRW 100,000 per month to childcare providers working more than 60 hours per month. These measures will encourage long-term employment, alleviate waiting lists, and improve user satisfaction.
