더불어민주당 대구시당이 지난 10일부터 21일까지 4천여 명의 신규입당자가 증가했다는 소식을 전했다.
민주당 대구시당에 따르면 이들은 대부분 온라인으로 입당을 신청하였으며, 신규입당자의 성별이나 연령층은 남녀노소 구분 없이 고루 증가한 것으로 알려진다.
더불어민주당 대구시당 관계자는 “이밖에도 정기적으로 당비납부를 희망하는 권리당원 요청 문의 또한 쇄도하고 있다.”면서 “신규당원 입당을 계기로 더욱 깊은 반성과 쇄신을 거듭해 지역에서 다시 대구시민의 신뢰를 얻고자 최선을 다할 것을 약속드린다.”고 전했다.
