달성군은 그동안 직영은 주간(06시~15시), 대행업체는 야간(02시~11시)에 생활폐기물(종량제봉투)을 수거하였으나 지난 1일부터는 수거 시간을 전면 주간(06시~15시)으로 변경했다.
이번 수거 시간 변경으로 환경미화원들의 안전사고 위험성, 수면 부족, 피로 누적, 청소차량 소음 등의 문제가 크게 개선될 것으로 기대하고 있다.
쓰레기 배출시간과 배출방법은 기존과 동일하게 종량제 봉투에 담아 내집(가게) 앞 또는 수거 장소에 저녁 8시~새벽2시까지 배출하면 된다.
