지난 25일 대구지검 공공수사부(김정옥 부장판사)는 2022년 6월 1일 치러진 제8회 전국동시지방선거 과정에서 정치자금법을 위반한 혐의로 윤석준 청장과 당시 회계책임자였던 A씨를 불구속 기소했다.

현행법에는 회계책임자가 정치자금법 49조 선거비용관련 위반행위로 징역형 또는 300만 원 이상의 벌금형이 확정되면 선출직 공직자의 당선은 무효가 된다.
